race update

Ascheffel & Wittensee

So nun mal wieder ein paar kurze updates zu den Rennen, die ich in letzter Zeit gefahren habe. Nein, ich hab bestimmt nicht faul auf der Haut gelegen in letzter Zeit, aber leider haben wir noch kein Internet in unserem Teamhaus :-(.
Am 31.03. und 01.04. ging es in den Norden von Deutschland, fast in Dänemark zu zwei kurzen Rennen. Das erste fand in Ascheffel statt und ging über 50km mit ein paar kleinen Hügeln darin. Leider waren an den zwei Tagen keine starken Mannschaften am Start und so mußten wir das Rennen für uns selber schwer machen. Gleich am Start fuhr Theresa weg und Natalie fuhr wenig später zu ihr hin. Ca 15km später ging der Rest unserer Mannschaft attackieren und nach wenigen Kilometern haben wir alle abgehangen und haben ein Mannschaftszeitfahren daraus gemacht, jedoch waren Theresa (1.) und Natty (2.) nicht mehr einzuholen. Claudi wurde dann 3. vor Martha und mir.
Wir haben dann dort übernachtet und am nächsten Morgen ging es dann nach Wittensee, wo wir 60km absolvieren mußten. Wie am Vortag bließ auch diesmal ein steife Briese uns um die Ohren. Wir attackierten auch diesmal gleich wieder vom Start weg, diesmal war es Natty, gefolgt von Tina und später einer kleinen Gruppe mit Gela und Steffi darin. Steffi fuhr aus dieser Gruppe noch zu Natty und Tina und in dieser Reihenfolge kamen sie dann ins Ziel. Ich beendete das Rennen diesmal im Feld.

Ascheffel & Wittensee

So now a short update again from the races, which I have done in the past. No, I wasn´t lazy, but we still don´t have Internet in our teamhouse :-( .
At 31.03 and 01.04. we drove to the north of Germany, almost in Danmark for two short races. The first one was in Ascheffel and we had to ride 50 km with little hills in it. The bad thing was that there were not good riders at the start and so we had to try to make the race as hard as possible for us. Direct from the start Theresa attacked and short time later Natalie went to her. 15km later the rest of our team attacked and we did a teamtimetrial to the finish, but we couldn´t catch Resa (1st) and Natty (2nd) anymore. Claudi was 3rd before Martha and me.
For the next race we slept there and on the next morning we went to Wittensee, where we had to race 60km. It was again really windy and cold and as the day before we attacked again direct from the start. This time it was Natty with Tina and shortly later a group with Gela and Steffi. Steffi could catch Natty and Tina and in this ranking they finished the race. I came with the bunch to the finish. stretching before the start
