Time for holiday :)

Jetzt hab ich mir erstmal Urlaub mit meinem Freund verdient und hoffe, so in Ruhe nachzudenken, was ich folgendes Jahr machen werde. Ihr werdet später von mir erfahren, sicherlich auch mit paar Fotos von meinem Urlaub. Also schaut wiedermal auf meine Seite.

Now I am happy to have some holiday with my boyfriend, before he leaves to London on 14th of october and fly than back to New Zealand on 18th of october. And I hope, that I can have a good think about what I will do next year. You will hear all that news later from me, as well some pics from my holiday. So have sometimes a look on my site!

Rund um die Burg in Kempen

Einen Tag später hab ich dann endlich mein letztes Rennen gefahren und das in meinem Heimatland Deutschland. Es war ein Rundstreckenrennen über 55km.
Nach ca 10km fuhr Loes Gunnewijk (Buitenpoort) alleine weg. Paar Runden später gelang es mir, zusammen mit Andrea Bosman (@work) und Christine Mos (DSB) vom Feld wegzuspringen, um später Loes Gunnewijk einzuholen. So arbeiteten wir vier gut zusammen, doch 3 Runden vorm Ende fuhr Loes erneut weg mit Mos am Rad. Und so gewann Mos den Sprint von Gunnewijk. Bosman fuhr von mir auch noch weg und so wurde ich dann 4., was mich jedoch nicht unzufrieden stellte. Das war doch ein guter Saisonabschluss.

One day later, I finally went to my last race in this season and this in my homecountry Germany. It was a sort of crit- race over 55km. After ca 10km Loes Gunnewijk (Buitenpoort) went alone away. Couple of laps later I could get away from the bunch, together with Andrea Bosman (@work) and Christine Mos (DSB), later we overtake Loes Gunnewijk. So we four worked well together, but 3 laps before the finish Loes attacked again with Mos in the wheel. And so Mos won the sprint from Gunnewijk. Bosman went went away from me and so I became 4th.
And so I had a few great results in the end of the season despite a few illness problems.

German by a Dutch Championships :)

Am 30.September hatten wir also ein Teamtimetrial mit unserem Verein, die Holländische Meisterschaft für Clubs, also nicht mit unserem Pro-Team. Wir mussten dabei 42km absolvieren, und unser Nachteil war, das unsere Mannschaft nur mit 3Fahrerinnen vertreten war (normal haben wir nicht die Probleme in unserem Proteam, aber einige Fahrerinnen gehören anderen Vereinen an und so fuhren wir also auch gegen unsere eigenen Mannschaftskolleginnen). Aber wir machten das Beste daraus und belegten einen sehr guten 2.Platz. Jedoch hinter unseren anderen 3 Teamfahrerinnen vom AA-Drink-Team, die zusammen mit einer Fahrerin vom @Work-team fuhren.

On 30th of September we had a Teamtimetrial with our club, the Dutch championship for clubs, so not with our pro-team. We had to ride 42km, and our disadvantage was, that our team was represented only with 3riders, (normally we don’t have the problems in our pro-team to be with not enough riders at a race, but some of our riders had to started with another club and so we had to race against eachother). But we made the best from that and belaid a very good 2nd place. However behind our other 3 team-riders of the AA-Drink-team, they rode together with one rider of the @work-team.
