World-Cup in Rotterdam, 3rd September

Am Sonntag, 3.September stand das vorletzte Weltcup-Rennen auf dem Programm in Rotterdam. Dabei mussten wir 140km absolvieren. Es stürmte so sehr, das es wieder mal viele Stürze gab und sich gleich zu Beginn viele Gruppen bildeten. Wir hatten in der ersten Gruppe gleich vier Fahrerinnen dabei. Diese Gruppe arbeitete gut zusammen und so kam es, trotz einigen Ausreisversuchen, zu einem Sprint, den Ina-Yoko Teutenberg (T-Mobile) für sich entschied, vor Tanja Hennes (Buitenpoort) und Kirsten Wild (AA-Drink). Ich beendete das Rennen bei 120km, da ich schon zu weit zurücklag.

On Sunday, 3rd September the secondlast Worldcup-race was on the program in Rotterdam. We had to ride 140km. On this day it was a heavy storm, so of course there were a lot of crashes again and the bunch splitted immidatly in many groups. We had four riders in the first group. This group worked well together. In the end there were a few attacks, but finally it came to a sprint, which was won by Ina-Yoko Teutenberg (T-mobile), before Tanja Hennes (Buitenpoort) and Kirsten Wild from our team. I stopped the race by km 120, because I was to far behind already.
