World-Cup Plouay

Von Trophe D’Or aus ging es gleich weiter zum Weltcup nach Plouay (Frankreich), der am Samstag stattfand. So fuhren wir Donnerstag mit dem Auto etwas mehr als 600km Richtung Westen an den Atlantik. Am Freitag haben wir etwas auf der neuen Strecke (es wurde noch ein Berg mehr eingebaut in die Strecke vom letzten Jahr) trainiert. Und Samstag war es dann soweit. Gleich nach dem Start hab ich gemerkt, das meine Beine heute überhaupt nicht wollten. Und so kam ich nach der zweiten Runde in einer Gruppe zurecht. Nach der 5. von 6 Runden stieg ich dann aus. Es gewann Nicole Brändli (im Alleingang) vor Giorgia Bronzini (gewann den Sprint vom übriggebliebenen Feld) und Nicole Cooke.
Nächstes Wochenende (Sonntag) steht dann das nächste Weltcuprennen in Rotterdam/ Niederlande auf dem Programm. Dienstag geht es weiter mit einer 4tägigen Rundfahrt (Euregio-Tour) und dann ist meine Saison zu Ende.

From Trophe D’Or we went further to the World-Cup in Plouay (France), which was hold on Saturday. So, on Thursday, we drove with the car a little bit more than 600km to the west in France to the Atlantic. On Friday we trained a bit on the new parcours (they made it harder and put one climb more into the course from last year). And Saturday the race started at 2.30pm. Direct after the start I felt that my legs were not the best today and so I got dropped with a little group after the second lap. After the 5th from 6 laps I stopped the race.
Nicole Brändli won (alone) before Giorgia Bronzini (won the sprint from the rest of the peleton).
Next weekend (on Sunday) is the next World-Cup in Rotterdam/ Netherland on the program. Tuesday it goes further on with a 4 days stage-race (Euregio-Tour) and than my saison will be finish.
