Epe

Nach 2-wöchiger Wettkampfpause (habe ich genutzt, um mich für Thüringen in den Hügeln bei Maastricht vorzubereiten) stand ein Criterium in Epe über 60 km auf dem Programm. Gleich zu Beginn fuhren 3Fahrerinnen weg, mit dabei Josephine aus unserer Mannschaft. Als der Vorsprung fast 1Minute war, probierte ich mit noch einer Fahrerin (die jedoch nicht stark genug war, um Führung zu leisten) zur Spitze aufzuschliessen, was mir auch fast gelungen wäre, wenn Josephine etwas klüger gefahren wäre, denn es fehlten nur noch 100meter am Ende. So sicherte sich Arenda Grimberg (Odysys) den Sieg vor Christine Mos (DSB). Josephine und mir blieben dann die Plätze 3 und 4 übrig. Trotz das wir den Sieg verspielt haben, kann ich ein gutes Fazit ziehen….meine Beine waren schon lange nicht mehr so gut, wie heute. Also, ab nach Thüringen.

After a race-break of 2-weeks (I used it, to prepare for the Thüringen-Tour next week, for a special training in the hills around Maastricht) I took part in a Criterium in Epe over 60 km. Immediately at the beginning, 3 riders went away, with Josephine from our team in it. When the advantage was almost 1Minute, I tried to ride to the frontgroup with another rider (she wasn’t able to take over from me, so I made a tt from ca 30km), but couldn’t close the last 100meters, because Josephine make a mistake to take over in the frontgroup. So Arenda Grimberg (Odysys) went to the victory before Christine Mos (DSB). Josephine and I placed 3rd and 4th. In spite of that we’ve losed the victory, I can take a good result of the race:…. my legs felt really good today…..so off to my homeregion Thüringen.
