Berlin - Wannsee (09.06.)

Endlich hatten wir mal eine kurze Anreise zum Rennen. Es ging nach Berlin, wo wir am sogenannten Schäferberg 10 Runden fahren mussten, in total 76 km. Da es dann am Sonntag gleich nach Spanien ging, war dies auf dem welligen Parcours nochmal ein guter Test. Wir fuhren wieder agressiv und nach 2 Runden bildete sich eine 5-köpfige Gruppe mit Steffi und Birgit von unserer Mannschaft.Wenig später attackierten Martha und ich und konnten wir in kürzester Zeit zur Spitzengruppe aufschliessen. Da mit Charlotte Becker (Nürnberger) eine Sprinterin in der Spitzengruppe vertreten war, wollten wir es nicht auf einen Sprint ankommen lassen und so attackierten wir abwechselnd, jedoch mit dem Ergebnis, das Christina und ich passen mussten. Steffi und Birgit blieben in der 5-köpfigen Gruppe und sprinteten um den Sieg. Es gewann jedoch Charlotte Becker vor Steffi und Martina Ruzikova (Elk-Haus). Ich kam alleine auf dem 6.Platz ins Ziel.
Fazit: Meine Beine fühlten besser an als erwartet und das stimmt mich optimistisch für Spanien, aber meine Schulter tut immer noch weh, nach dem Sturz in Polen.

Finally we didn´t had a long drive to the race. We had to drive to Berlin, where we had to ride 10 laps on the hill called „Schäferberg“, in total 76 km. It was a good test (on a hilly parcours) for Spain, where we drove to direct after the race on sunday. We rode agressiv again and after 2laps there rode a group of 5 away within Steffi and Birgit from our team. Short time later Christina and I attacked and could close the gap to the frontgroup. As there was Charlotte Becker (Nürnberger) as a good sprinter in the group, we didn´t want to take the risc to outsprint her and so we attacked and attacked, but the result was, that Christina and I lost the contact to the group. Steffi and Birgit stayed in the 5-person-group and tried to sprint to the victory. But Charlotte Becker won before Steffi and Martina Ruzikova (Elk-Haus). I finished on place 6.Fazit: My legs felt better than expected and thats optimistic for Spain, but I had still a sore shoulder from the crash in Poland.
