Ronde van Geldrop

Samstag, 29.April, am Koniginnendag in Holland, stand wiedermal ein Criterium auf dem Programm. Wie jedes Criterium war auch dieses 60km lang.
Das Wetter hier spielt immer noch verrückt. Letzte Woche noch Temperaturen um die 15-20 Grad und Sonnenschein, an diesem Tag waren es grad mal 5Grad und Regen. Da jeder es so kalt hatte, war das Tempo wieder hoch und so gab es wenig Attacken. 8 Runden vor Schluss probierte ich dann mein Heil in der Flucht, und zu meinem Erstaunen war ich alleine weg und konnte so nach langer Durststrecke wieder einen Sieg herausfahren. Dabei haben mir natürlich meine Mädels super geholfen…. Danke!!!! Suzanne wurde auch noch zweite vor Sissy van Alebeek (Odysis) und den Leaderspreis (jede Runde gibt es Punkte für die 1. Fahrerin) hab ich auch noch zusätzlich gewonnen.

Saturday, 29.April, at the Koniginnendag in Holland, there was once again a Criterium on the schedule. It went about 60 km. The weather here is still crazy. Last week there were temperatures around the 15-20 degrees and sunshine, this day it was only 5 degrees and rain. Because everyone was freezing, the speed was high and so there were not many attacks. 8 laps before the finish I tried my luck and to my astonishment I was alone away and could finally win a race again after a long time between victories. I won the “Leaderspreis” as well in addition (each lap the first rider got a point). Thanks to my teammates who did a great job!!! Suzanne was also second and Sissy van Alebeek (Odysis) completed the podium.
